Food and Disaster Management Minister Abdur Razzak on Tuesday said Bangladesh will take the Rohingya issue to the international forum if the crisis is not resolved bilaterally.
“We will take the matter to the international community for solution,” the minister made this remark while attending a seminar titled ‘Rohingya Crisis: Way Out Bangladesh’ organised by Centre for Education Research and Advocacy at National Press Club in the capital.
Razzak expressed the hope that a democratically elected government will assume power in Myanmar soon and resolve the crisis.
He criticised the international NGO’s as they alleged that Bangladesh is not providing necessary supports to the refugees.
Despite limitation of resources, Bangladesh is trying to help both the registered and nonregistered Rohingya refugees, the minister said.
